YRCI Logo

YRCI provides financial management (FM) services as part of our acquisition services area. We place the same dedication and attention to quality in FM as we do in our other practice areas and are ready to provide responsive, dedicated professionals with the relationship based approach that has served us well over the years. We will be continuing to work with Government by investing in this area, and providing the high-level service industry has come to expect from YRCI.

Grants Management

YRCI has a long history of full life-cycle grants management. We know that the Federal Government spends billions each year providing grants to significant programs and people. We also know that management of those grants is a growing challenge. YRCI provides expertise in the continuum of the grants process. Our services can begin with developing a Notice of Funds Available and continue through evaluation, award, monitoring and audit, to completion closeout and recovery of individual and programmatic grants. Our professionals are available to work remotely and currently work across the Nation either on the full life-cycle or individual components of Federal grants programs.

Auditing and Compliance Reviews

As public and Congressional interest grows in how Government funds are spent, and how they are accounted for, the need for audit and compliance reviews continues to grow. YRCI has provided these services as part of our Acquisition practice for numerous Federal departments and agencies. We provide professionals with various certifications to support any audit. Currently, we have staff who are Certified Public Accountants, Certified Fraud Examines, Certified Government Financial Managers, and Certified Forensic Accounting Professionals. We can build an audit and compliance staff anywhere in the United States.

Planning, Programming, Budgeting & Execution (PPB&E)

YRCI has proven our capability in this area through our work in the Department of Defense (DoD). YRCI provides a full spectrum of professionals working throughout the full PPB&E cycle. We have professionals working the PPB&E process from the Future Years Defense Program through Current Year/Budget Year execution and reconciliation. We work closely with resource sponsors at the most senior levels of DoD and various Defense Agencies. The personnel we provide are dedicated Defense Finance Professionals. As with our other professional areas, we can support the full PPB&E process or participate in single segments of the process.

Asset Management and Accounting

A common management finding across Government is the state of property accounting records. This accounting issue includes not only the receipt and accounting of controlled assets, but also procurement and warehousing. In our experience, assets are lost on a regular basis or not disposed of (in accounting terms) properly and books are out of balance. We know that proper accounting of assets leads to more efficient use of resources and streamlined reporting to the General Services Administration. Our professionals can assist with identification, reporting, and reconciliation of accountable assets. In addition, we can provide the expertise to develop improved processes and policies to remediate current audit findings.

Fleet Management (Procurement & Asset Management)

Vehicle assets are one of the most mismanaged commodities in the Government. Review of processes and programs associated with fleet management can save agencies millions. Even the smallest agencies can benefit from improved processes. Sometimes, it’s as simple as reading leases and proactively executing the terms of those agreements or managing the fleet purchase card program. In some cases, complete reform of buying, replacement, and disposition processes—and disposition criteria—are needed. These kinds of reforms ultimately save substantial dollars while enhancing safety and vehicle utilization.
